Vintage Israel Freeman & Son Silverplate Wine Bottle Coaster

This vintage silverplate wine bottle coaster by Israel Freeman & Son brings an ornate finishing touch to a bar cart or drinks table. Its broad border of raised grapes, leaves and scrollwork frames a turned wooden base, with room for both wine and Champagne bottles.

This is a well-used piece with visible silverplate wear and a missing center insert or medallion in the wooden base. Those details are reflected in the price; it remains usable as a bottle holder.

Why I Chose This Piece

The generous grape-and-leaf border gives this coaster wonderful presence beside glassware and bottles. I love the contrast of the richly patterned rim and warm wooden base, even with the visible wear.
