This vintage Blanc de Chine vase is a striking mid-century Chinese white porcelain piece with sculpted koi fish, swirling waves, leafy forms, and a luminous ivory-white glaze. What makes it especially beautiful is the combination of its tall, elegant silhouette and wonderfully dimensional details—the fish seem to emerge right from the waves at the base.
The vase comes with its carved black display stand, creating a dramatic contrast against the creamy porcelain. Although unmarked, the piece is beautifully made in the Blanc de Chine tradition associated with Chinese white porcelain and Dehua-style wares.
